Answerkeel answers customer questions using only the facts you give it — then checks every reply against those facts before a customer sees it. When a reply can't be supported, the customer gets a plain fallback instead of a guess.
Answerkeel is a customer-support assistant for small businesses. You write down how your business works — hours, services, prices, the questions you keep answering — and Answerkeel replies to customers from that text alone.
The part that matters is what happens next. Before any reply reaches a customer, a second, smaller model reads it back against your knowledge base and marks every claim. If a name, a number or a price isn't in your text, or the check can't run, the reply is held back and the customer is told a person will follow up. It would rather stay quiet than invent something.
Three steps, every time a customer asks something.
The question and your knowledge base go to a model that runs on your own machine. Answerkeel never sends them anywhere else.
The reply is broken into single claims. Each claim is compared with the closest lines from your knowledge base by the checking model.
Names, numbers and prices must also appear in your text. If a claim is unsupported — or the check can't run — the customer gets a safe fallback instead of the reply.
The fallback is plain: “I can't confirm that, the team will follow up.” A person can then answer properly.
The real app, running with a sample business. The dark theme is one of three.
The same checked answers, in a chat bubble on any site. One script tag, no framework, no build step.
On a site, it is one line:
<script src="https://chat.yourdomain.com/widget.js" data-endpoint="https://chat.yourdomain.com" defer></script>
The widget is served by answerkeel-serve, which talks to the same local model server as the desktop app. It lives in its own shadow root, so it can't clash with a site's styles, and every web conversation is stored locally with channel web.
On the bundled dental example: 22 test questions, run 3 times each with a 20-billion-parameter model.
One model, a small sample. The check makes invented facts less likely — it does not promise they will never happen. Keep a person in the loop for anything that matters, and don't use Answerkeel for medical advice or health records.
Answerkeel's only connection of its own is the optional check-model download. Your customers' messages go only to the model server you configure — local, or one you choose.
Because I'm building my portfolio, my first projects cost less.
Today Answerkeel runs as a desktop app; connecting a live channel (web, WhatsApp or Telegram) is done as part of a project.
Send me a few questions or a page from your website (made-up ones are fine) and I'll show you what Answerkeel answers — and what it holds back. If it isn't a good fit, I'll say so. Please don't send anything confidential.
